Roghaieh is a high school student . She has an older brother who is ill, suffering from a brain tumor, and is undergoing treatment. Their father, who was a laborer, passed away due to a heart attack, and their mother is now responsible for raising the two children. The mother tries to support the family by sewing cloth bags at home, but her small income is not enough to cover all the living expenses, Roghieh’s education, and her brother’s treatment. They are renters and look with hope to the generous support of kind benefactors. The family is Afghan and does not receive any government assistance. The mother earns a small income by cleaning houses.

رقیه در مقطع دبیرستان تحصیل می کند. او یک برادر بزرگتر از خود که بیمار است و تومور مغزی داشته و تحت درمان میباشد دارد. پدر که کارگر ساده بوده بر اثر سکته قلبی فوت کرده است و مادر سرپرستی دو فرزندش را به عهده دارد. مادر با دوختن کیسه پارچه ای در خانه تلاش در کمک به امرار معاش خانواده دارد اما درآمد اندک او کفاف تامین مخارج همه جانبه و تحصیل رقیه و درمان برادرش را نمیدهد. آنها مستاجر هستند و چشم امید به دستان پرمهر خیرین محترم دارند. خانواده افغان هستند و هیچ گونه کمک دولتی دریافت نمی کنند. مادر با کار نظافت خانه ها درآمد اندکی کسب می کند.
