Shaygan is in elementary school. He has an older sister who is a college student. Shaygan is very interested in martial arts and has participated in three semesters but could not continue due to financial problems. His father is an addict and a fugitive and his mother is the guardian of his two children. She is a full time baby sitter and makes a little money. They live in a rented house. This family is in dire need of financial support. By joining the Taekwondo club, Shaygan was able to win first place in his category.

شایگان در مقطع دبستان تحصیل می کند. او یک خواهر بزرگتر دانشجو دارد. شایگان علاقه زیادی به ورزش های رزمی دارد و سه ترم هم شرکت کرده اما به دلیل مشکلات مالی نتوانسته ادامه بدهد. پدر معتاد و متواری میباشد و مادر سرپرستی دو فرزندش را به عهده دارد. او برای تامین مخارج زندگی از بچه مراقبت می کند و در منزلی مستاجر هستند. این خانواده نیاز مبرم به حمایت مالی دارند. شایگان با عضویت در باشگاه تکواندو توانست مقام اول در رده خود را کسب کند.
