Sonia is in primary school. Her father committed suicide. She has an older sister who has a genetic brain disease and the cost of treatment is high, and because of this, she has to change her glasses every 6 months. Her mother is unable to work due to her childs illness. They live in their rural home. The familys income comes from welfare and subsidies and are in dire need of financial assistance.
