سهیلا در مقطع دبستان تحصیل می کند. او یک خواهر کوچکتر که او نیز محصل میباشد دارد. پدر که کارگر ساده بوده به علت تصادف فوت شده است و مادر سرپرستی دو فرزندش را به عهده دارد. مادر از ناراحتی شدید ریوی رنج میبرد و باید درمان شود. خیریه حضرت فاطمه زهرا یه مادر سرمایه ای داده و او با پرورش مرغ و خروس در حیاط خانه درآمد اندکی کسب می کند. این خانواده در خانه کاهگلی خود در روستا زندگی می کنند و برای تامین مخارج زندگی و تحصیل فرزندان نیاز مبرم به حمایت مالی دارند.
