Kousar studies in high school. She has a younger brother who is a student. Parents are separated and both remarried and have no relationship with Kousar and his brother. Their grandmother takes care of them and they live in her house. The house is in out skirts of one of the remote cities and is very old .Grandma is sick and unable to work due to old age. She is in financial straits to provide for the living and education of her two grandchildren and is in dire need of financial support.

کوثر در مقطع دبیرستان تحصیل می کند.. او یک برادر کوچکتر از خود دارد که محصل میباشد. پدر و مادر جدا شده اند و هر دو ازدواج مجدد کرده و هیچ ارتباطی با کوثر و برادرش ندارند. مادربزرگ سرپرستی آنها را به عهده دارد و در منزل او زندگی می کنند. منزل در یکی از شهرهای دورافتاده اطراف میباشد و بافت بسیار قدیمی و فرسوده ای دارد. مادربزرگ بیمار است و به دلیل کهولت سن ناتوان میباشد. او برای تامین مخارج زندگی و تحصیل دو نوه خود در تنگنای اقتصادی قرار دارد و نیاز مبرم به حمایت مالی دارد.
