The mother is the guardian of her two children and used to weave carpets, but she is unable to work due to nervousness and severe depression. حسین دردبیرستان با نمرات خیلی خوب تحصیل می کند. او یک برادر بزرگتر از خود دارد که سرباز میباشد. پدر که کارگر چاه کن بوده به علت خفگی در چاه فوت شده است. مادر سرپرست دو فرزند خود میباشد و قیلا قالیبافی میکرده اما به علت ناراحتی اعصاب و افسردگی شدید قادر به کار کردن نیست. آنها مالک خانه روستایی خود هستند و مادر برای تامین مخارج زندگی و تحصیل حسین در شرایط سخت اقتصادی قرار دارد. این خانواده نیاز به پشتیبانی مالی دارند.
