Sedna studies in elementary school. She has two older brothers, both of whom are high school students, and two older sisters, one of whom is a primary school student and the other of whom has dropped out of school . One of Sednas brothers was born with one leg shorter than the other and crooked. One of the sisters also has a hearing problem and needs to be operated on. The parents have separated and the mother has assumed custody of her five children.She does some sewing at home and makes a little money Due to financial poverty and lack of housing, they live in relatives houses in one of the most deprived villages of Zabul and are in a very difficult situation. This family is in dire need of financial support.

سدنا در مقطع دبستان تحصیل می کند. او دو برادر بزرگتر از خود دارد که هر دو محصل دبیرستان هستند و دو خواهر بزرگتر که یکی محصل دبستان و دیگری از تحصیل باز مانده است. یکی از برادران سدنا بطور مادرزادی یک پایش کوچکتر از دیگری و کج میباشد. یکی از خواهران هم مشکل شنوائی داشته و باید عمل شود. پدر و مادر متارکه کرده اند و مادر سرپرستی پنج فرزند خود را به عهده گرفته است. مادر با انجام خیاطی شاهد در خانه درامد اندکی کسب می کند.. آنها به دلیل فقر مالی و نداشتن مسکن در منزل اقوام در یکی از محروم ترین روستاهای زابل زندگی می کنند و در وضعیت بسیار دشواری هستند. این خانواده به شدت به حمایت مالی نیاز دارند.
