Pouria studies in grade nine. He is studious and diligent. His father lost his job at a hosiery factory after 23 years of service and is currently unemployed. He also suffers from neurotic and mental disorders and has been admitted in a mental institute. His mother cleans houses, but does not earn enough to pay for their expenses. They live in a room on the roof with minimal resources. They need a helping hand.

پوریا در مقطع دبیرستان تحصیل می کند ودانش آموز کوشا و ساعی می باشد. پدر که مدت بیست و سه سال در کارخانه جوراب بافی کار می کرده به علت تعطیلی کارخانه بیکار می باشد. او در ضمن به علت بیماری اعصاب و روان در بیمارستان بستری بوده و تحت درمان می باشد. مادر برای امرار معاش در منازل کار می کند ولی درآمدش ناچیز است. آنها در یک اتاق واقع در پشت بام با حداقل وسایل زندگی می کنند. این خانواده نیاز به همیاری دارند.
