Mehrdad attends high school and is not doing very well. His father passed away from a heart attack several years ago. Mehrdads mother attends an adult school where she is learning to read and write. She suffers from severe arthritis and uses heavy medication. They own their own home, however need help to pay back a 3 million Toman loan they took from Irans Revolutionary Guards. The sparse furniture and utensils they own are worn and basic. Mehrad will be attending summer school and is in need of a bike as a means of transportation. They also need help to pay for education and nutrition.
مهرداد در مقطع دبیرستان تحصیل میکند.درس او ضعیف است.و تابستان به کلاس های تقویتی میرودوبرای رفت و آمد مشکل دارد و نیازمند دوچرخه است. پدرش به علت سکته قلبی فوت کرده است.مادر مبتلا به آرتروز شدید است و دارو مصرف میکند.این خانواده پرجمعیت از چهار دختر ویک پسر تشکیل شده است. این خانواده مالک هستند. آنها برای خرید خانه سه میلیون وام از کمیته امداد گرفته اند که در باز پرداخت آن دچار مشکل شده اند. وسایل اولیه زندگی آنها بسیار محقر است. آنها نیاز به کمک دارند.
