مرتضی در مقطع دبیرستان تحصیل می کند.او سال پیش را بامعدل 18.25 پشت سر گذاشته است. پدر فوت کرده و مادر ازدواج مجدد داشته و مرتضی را رها کرده است. مرتضی که از داشتن پدر و مادر محروم است با عمه و مادر بزرگش که بسیار پیر و ناتوان است زندگی می کند. او در ضمن تحت درمان فیزویوتراپی و گفتار درمانی می باشدکه هزینه بالایی بر عمه اش که تنها نان آور خانواده می باشد تحمیل می کند. حمایت از این خانواده باعث می شود که مرتضی از شرایط بهتری برای تحصیل و زندگی برخوردار شود.
