Sajedeh has finished her middle school however, since she is an Afghan immigrant she is no longer able to study full-time at highschool therefore, she is home-schooled. Sajedeh is living with her mother and other four siblings in a rented residence. Her father had left them for a period of time, and returned once he began to suffer from severe back problems. During that time, Sajedehs mother, who suffers from arthritis and other health problems, was the sole supporter of the family, working as a waitress. Due to Sajedehs mothers illnesses she is unable to work and requires immediate medical attention. Although Sajedeh is witness to her familys daily difficulties, she is an appreciative, active and hard-working individual. The familys income is very little and they suffer from malnutrition. They desperately need your assistance to help pay for their minimal daily expenses.

ساجده پس از اتمام دوره راهنمایی به دلیل اینکه از مهاجرین افغان هستند و اجازه تحصیل در مدارس ایرانی را ندارند قرار بود در یک هنرستان فنی و حرفه ای به صورت غیر حضوری تحصیل کند. او علیرغم شرایط سخت زندگی دختری فعال و بانشاط و قدردان است. پدر که چند سالی خانواده را ترک کرده بود با کمر درد شدید به منزل مراجعه کرده ولی قادر به کار کردن نمی باشد. مادر زن زحمتکش و فداکاری است که بار مسئولیت خانواده را بر عهده داشته ودر یک رستوران کار می کند ولی اخیرا به دلیل بیماری قلبی و آرتروز تحت درمان است . آنهادر مکانی استیجاری زندگی می کنند. درآمد خانواده بسیار نا چیز است و آنها از نظر تغذیه و بهداشت در وضعیت بدی بسر می برند ومحتاج کمکهای مردمی هستند.
