Fatemeh is an ambitious high school student with good grades. Her father is a welder. He was forced to sell one of his kidneys to get some money, as well as borrowing to purchase a small house. Her mother, despite her weak eye-sight makes handcrafts in exchange for minimum wage. Their minimal income does not cover their basic expenses and debt repayment.
